Your 2014 Action Plan!

A thought entered my mind today, what if Angels await us as we procrastinate on our Goals? What a sad, horrible waste of Divine time. Just imagine, this angel, who is the quarterback to you and your dreams, goals and ambitions, but first you MUST make the first move. Action. Definitively moving towards your goals and not simply dreaming of them, deciding. The poet Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: "Once you make a decision, the Universe conspires to make it happen". The Universe. Conspires. Really? Yes!

Lets break down this formidable quote, starting with: "Once". Once starts every story. " Once upon a time..." Not: "Perhaps One Day..." Once, not If, not when, not maybe, rather ONCE. Again it's that Angel's request " As soon as (ONCE) you make your leap of Faith (DECISION) , I got you (I'LL CONSPIRE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN)". Thus, I make move and that's it? I don't have to work? Fairy Angels will lead me straight to the finish line? Not quite. We all know that making that first move IS the Hardest part of Goal. 90% is showing up to make your move. 10% is the sweat of perseverance.

Now, what I truly believe is the tenacity of The Universe (Divine Intervention) is to Conspire to make this happen, to give you, throw favors your way. Like your own personal "Hook me ups." Look, Feel Great!To Conspire is to basically line up situations, things, people for a Big event to occur. The Conspirators do everything & anything possible to help in the fruition of this Big Event. To Conspire is not just to plan, but to seamlessly Orchestrate with military like precision. Making a decision is than a total call to Action.

A Walk on the Highline

One of the of greatest pleasures of having an open schedule in New York City on a Friday evening as Spring is shaping and the layers of clothes are lighter, is taking a walk West toward the Hudson River, from the East side of town.

Tonight, after work, instead of going shopping, instead of happy hour drinks or heading straight to the subway, I walked from 13 th Street & Fifth Avenue to The Meatpacking District. This is the extremely gentrified, utterly chic, Celebrity sited neighborhood that start on 8th Avenue and 14th Street, goes a few block south before Greenwich Village starts. But on this sunset moment is that The Meatpacking District touches part the Hudson River and has a elevated city park named The Highline, that once, long ago in the 1980s, were train tracks.

This famous neighborhood is home to Apple, Diane Von Furstenberg and The original Gansorvoort Hotel way too chic for words. Now these train tracks rise above the noise and shops and provides not only sunset views, it gives you a respite high above the City to enjoy the River quietly thawing from the Winter's Vortex. It seems that I was given a more than usually peaceful green space tonight as the Park with its Art installations and baby Burch tree budding with fresh life, quietly soothe the work week off my mind, and allowed fresh warm Spring breeze to come in vantage point.

This should be a tradition, because it's a most naturally relaxing way to start your weekend.

Looking your Best in 2014!

We all want to be more attractive. Here's a handful of ways to be beautiful and have everyone wondering how. Vamp up what you already have. Clean up your diet, attitude, your hair, house and life. Let the sun shine in. Clear up the mess that can bring you stress and leave you looking like at witch costume for Halloween.

Smile. It's been said that smiling makes everyone looks better, instantly. Find all the beauty in the world and in your life and smile from within. Your face will show better when you smile and laugh, honestly.

Love. Love everything in your life. Love the way you look, even if you think you don't look like Jessica Alba. Love your man, and your relationship. Even if it's not like Brad and Angelina's. Loving attitude makes you glow and people want to be around that.

Be Kind and generous. Give your time to a good cause. Even if it's helping a friend or family. Give of yourself, put your hair up, laugh and enjoy the valuable time that you share with people. This will make you even more attractive.

Be spiritual. Whatever good that you believe, just continue. It will guide you to beauty and grace. Take quiet times out for yourself and be at peace with yourself. Leave behind what you can't handle and carry with you the stronger, happy, more attractive YOU! Look, Feel Great!
